The Castlemilk Community Football Trust has been formed to benefit the community of Castlemilk and the wider South Glasgow locality. Providing recreational and
sports facilities and activities for people of all ages and abilities.
Our objectives are the improvement of life for the people whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
The advancement of public participation in sport and the promotion of citizenship and community development.
We hope you will join us on our journey by becoming Resident or Associate Members to have a say
in how we push forward and develop a Community space that we can all be proud of.

GlasgowTimes Award
“The Sports Award was presented to Castlemilk Community Football Trust, a
team of outstanding volunteers who have inspired everyone with their passion
and hard work supporting young players and their families at the Barlia pitches.
Faced with the potential closure of the football centre, they fought to keep it
open and have since hosted hundreds of matches, free football camps and
community events.”

25 Year Lease
Signed Sealed Delivered 2nd May 2024
Castlemilk Community Football Trust was granted a 25-year lease for the Barlia
Sports Complex at a council committee today (2 May).
Councillor Ruairi Kelly, Convener for Neighbourhood Services and Assets at
Glasgow City Council, said: "The successful operation of the Barlia Sports Complex
by Castlemilk Community Football Trust is another - and outstanding - example of
what can be achieved through our People Make Glasgow Communities
programme. The Trust's commitment to improving the facility and working closely
with the local community and a huge number of clubs to deliver something special
bodes well for the future of Barlia."
As we continue our redevelopment of Barlia Football Centre, Castlemilk
Community Football Trust would like to announce the incorporation of
Castlemilk Community Football Club.
After many conversations and consulting all Castlemilk clubs / teams and
our Southside let holders over the past few months we can now confirm
that Castlemilk OBC, Castlemilk F.C., Castlemilk Dynamo U17's &
Castlemilk Dynamo U15's have agreed to form Castlemilk Community
Football Club and will begin the new football season 24/25 with teams
across several leagues and ages, both amateur and youth teams.
Exciting times ahead for us as we look to build on what has been a successful
year for our local clubs and the work to improve Barlia. This is fantastic for the local community and
gives our local teams and players a progressive structure to aim and work towards to develop as
individuals as well as build the Club for many years to come.
We have taken advice and guidance on Club structure directly from SFA following their significant
financial contribution to the pitch renewal and from the many decades (at least 5!!) of the community
saying Castlemilk should have a "big club" playing at the highest levels the whole community can
support. Hopefully these are the building blocks for that to happen.
We are delighted to also announce that Drakemire Tyres & MOT station will be the home kit sponsor
for CCFC this coming season. More sponsorship opportunities for the club and the facility are available
(details to follow) .
Just to add, the local clubs staying as they are (Little Dynamos/ Castlemilk Dynamo teams and
Castlemilk FA) and not transferring over, will be affiliated clubs of CCFC and continue to be supported
with training and playing facilities as normal and still play an important role in the community
providing football for local kids.
Please follow our page over the next few weeks for regular updates.
